Special Injection Methods
Many special injection treatments on the spine and on the joints are at our disposal. For example, irritated nerve roots can be surrounded with a local anaesthetic, achieving a pain reduction, a reduction in the swelling of nerve structures and a change of the pain threshold. With the trigger point infiltration the painful muscle areas or special pain points in the muscular area are injected. Many injections are a part of a so-called therapeutic local anaesthesia, relieving pain and relaxing muscles by triggering reflex-circles by urticas on certain areas of the body. Infiltration of joints can be very helpful. Irritations of the small vertebral joints and of the sacral joint can be treated directly. Injections for treating problems within the spinal canal are also possible. Injections with Orthokin R can increase the effectiveness of the injections. With this therapy the pain and inflammatory process is influenced naturally according to biological principles.
